Been there a few times but most recently two of us shared a Caesar Salad, 1 bottle of wine, 1 pasta entree and the lasagna entree, awesome dessert and 2 coffee’s and it was $130. We don’t normally go for dessert and coffee but splurged a little. I feel that’s a good value for fresh italian food. Highly recommend this place!
Italy in Loveland. Check all the boxes. Great, simple atmosphere, flavorful food, excellent service and generous portions. I love the pride Rodi takes in what they bring to your table. We started with their unique Greek salad, Rodi's delicious homemade bread with virgin olive oil and butter (no brainer) and an easy drinking Italian red wine that complimented our dinner. If you like Greek salad, order it! It is big enough to share. We ordered the Risotto Frutti Di Mare and Italiana pizza. I loved the Risotto Frutti Di Mare and it has to be an award winning dish. It was cooked perfectly. The seafood was not overcooked and the blend of flavors were distinctive, rich and creamy in the sauce. Yet not too heavy. The Italiana pizza is shown with an aged beef on top. The aged beef is like an old world aged ham, but beef. Also pictured: our friends ordered the Pomodoro and Nonna's Lasagna (big portion) they loved it. I tried the lasagna and it is flavor packed. I can't wait to go back and try more pasta dishes at Rodi. Only improvement could be acoustics. When packed, it can get loud for talking and sound tiles could make a difference, but you don't have to worry about neighboring tables hearing your conversation. Haha.
We dined here on 2/23 for my wife's birthday and were completely blown away by the food and service we had during our visit. Our server (Emily J) was not only personable but they gave great recommendations and made us feel like they knew us forever. The drinks were delicious; especially the expresso martini. The dishes were simple but some of the best food we've tasted in a while. You could tell the hard work they put into creating them. Most of their pasta is made in house (I believe their gluten free isn't) and you could definitely tell in their exceptional taste. It was a little loud when we first got there but we went at prime dinner time and I'll never fault a place for being successful. We will definitely be back to enjoy their outdoor patio.
The food was delicious! They had lots of classic Italian dishes that aren't typically served here.We were a big group and we has three kids under 5 with us. One with a laundry list of allergies. Our waiter brennen was so great with the kids and knew the menu really well and helped us navigate the allergy issue easily. It was a really great night!
Outstanding! My favorite Cincinnati restaurant used to be a downtown very popular Italian restaurant. Not anymore. Rodi you’re it! Keep up the great work! Salads excellent. Pasta excellent. Bread excellent. Dessert excellent. Can’t wait to return!
