Went here for Sunday lunch and at £32 for two courses and £37 for three, I was expecting something special. I was disappointed. The actual food was okay but nothing to shout about and the service was good if not a bit slow, but the quantity of food supplied was stingy and for the price should have been better. The Hake I was served was basically four mouth fulls and very disappointing. The Roast Pork, my wife had, was cooked nicely but half the plate was covered by a Yorkshire pudding. The veg was good but again, scarce and a small bowl with extra cabbage did not make it up ! Plates came with a blob of a light yellow mustard type substance, which if I am honest, was unnecessary and did nothing for the food. The dessert we chose, sticky toffee pudding, caramel sauce and ice cream was excellent. But I have to say I left hungry and definitely did not get value for money and a return visit is unlikely.
