Khao Soi Noodle Shop - Luang Prabang

Locals and tourists form a small queue for this small shop in the morning. Well worth waiting, although the khao Soy is absolutely delicious!

A small noodle shop is high along the street where the restaurants and shops end up. It has only a few tables and serves only two types of noodle soup. The star of the shop is the Khao Soi, popular among locals and tourists. The rice noodle is served in a delicious broth, a mixture of sweet, acidic and hearty pork and spicy with a small bowl. The broth is refreshing and appetizing. It's a must to eat when in LP. A bowl costs 20K, a little more than other local shops, but it is worth it. Don't come too late as it closes at 1200.

One of the best Pho noodles and Kao Soi Noddles. Soup is great. Be sure to be here early because they run out very quickly.

Super fresh and tasteful. You know, it's a good sign when the crowd is mostly locals. A must-stop for breakfast or early lunch. It's not sharp, but you can add chili if you want. Only 20K for a bowl.

Really yummy noodles “pho” served with lotsa fresh greens that you can add to the noodles however one fancies. The broth is rather peppery. The other option is Khao Soi. Opens real early and sells out by noon time.
