Ike's Woodfire Grill - Lubbock

This restaurant is just average. There was nothing particularly exceptional about it. It did offer a variety of menu choices, but the hamburger steak dinner was disappointing. The gravy was overly salty and all the food was lukewarm, indicating it may have been sitting for a while. The macaroni lacked enough cheese and did not even cover all of it. On a positive note, the ribeye steak was cooked to the right specifications.

I went to lunch with my coworkers at this restaurant. It is a delicious eatery with friendly servers, very clean, and beautifully decorated. There are plenty of menu options for all tastes, even for picky eaters. I returned today to have the Chicken Crisp Salad again, which is not only beautiful and colorful but also deliciously prepared. I had it on Wednesday and now again on Friday. I can attest to the consistency of the food and recommend giving this place a try!

This was our first visit to this restaurant. My wife had dined here a few times with friends and was expecting a better meal. Unfortunately, the Ribeye steak that was served to her was barely warm and had a lot of fat on it. The butter didn't even melt on it. She only ate half of the steak and left the rest. The twice baked potatoes she ordered were mistakenly served as mashed potatoes, which were very salty and tasted like ranch seasoning. I had the chicken fajitas, which were okay. My wife rated the steak a 4, while I gave the fajitas a 6. It may have just been a bad day as my wife had previously enjoyed good food here. The service was great, and we noticed that the pizza and chicken fried steak at the nearby tables looked delicious. We are considering giving this restaurant another chance to see if our experience was just a fluke.

We recently attended a birthday party for my niece and it was fantastic! The food was excellent as usual, this being our third visit to the restaurant, and our waiter at the party was outstanding. The portions were generous and we all enjoyed sharing our dishes. During the party, my niece's husband found something in his drink that shouldn't have been there, but when we informed the waiter, he was very apologetic and quickly replaced the drink. We will definitely be returning to Ike's soon! (By the way, my nephew Isaac is called Ike for short!)

My first experience at Ike's restaurant was amazing. The staff was friendly and the service was excellent. I especially enjoyed the music on the terrace. We were seated promptly and had a wonderful dining experience.
