Pancake House - Lubbock

Do you enjoy home-cooked meals? I certainly do! The pancakes, omelets, and biscuits with gravy are absolutely fantastic. Despite being very busy, everyone was friendly and attentive. I highly recommend this place!

This place is always packed! We were told the wait would be about 30 to 40 minutes, but we ended up waiting for an hour. When I inquired about the delay, I was informed that since our group had six people, we could only be seated when a table for exactly six became available. They mentioned they would get to us when they could. It turned out that my name had been overlooked, as around 15 other parties were seated before us. To top it off, we watched a family of five who arrived after us get seated in half the time we did, so we decided to leave. The whole experience felt really strange, almost as if there was some kind of bias at play. Just to note, we are not of white descent.

If you're looking for a cozy spot for a classic country breakfast, this is the place to be. The food is fantastic, and the coffee is outstanding—just good old-fashioned coffee, no frills or fancy lattes here. The waitstaff truly make you feel like part of their family, and that's no exaggeration. Whether you're in the mood for a light breakfast, a hearty meal, or a delightful lunch option, Pancake House is the spot for you.

The food here was so good we came 2 days in a row. We were here from out of town and loved the food and the people. Parking: The parking is kind of wonky.
