Papa Johns Pizza - Lubbock

Absolutely love eating and this is the only reason I will order it. Moreover, they have terrible customer service, but my biggest problem with them is their delivery service. they do not let the customers know that they make other deliveries before their, so their time will constantly say 5 minutes for at least 20-30 minutes before arrival. the drivers often disappear from the card and I personally believe that they do other activities except to supply pizza. when I tried to contact the load about it, the very snapping dame on the phone tried to tell me that they made several deliveries. if that is actually the case, they should take some efforts to fix their estimated delivery times on their website to get the accurate time they get their food

Lesson learned! Pay for your order in cash! If you pay with a card they outsource delivery to door dash. We never received our order. Got a refund. Dominoes in the same neighborhood came through for us.

I really hate leaving negative reviews but this just wasn’t good in my opinion. I ordered the NY style pizza I think they just gave me a XL regular pepperoni pizza (the is no difference) Garlic butter was busted when the pizza got here. Pizza was not cut at all so I had to cut it when it got here. The pizza was also cold (to be fair it was pretty cold outside) honestly, I will probably just order the Brooklynn style pizza from dominos going forward it gives me more of the desired crust.I feel bad for leaving this review because I called the store and all of the workers were very kind and even gave me a free pizza on my next order supposedly however I won’t be ordering NY style again I’ve been a “papa johns” is the best pizza guy for 15 years not the case anymore.

Understaffed. The one driver hadn’t shown up. The ladies working weren’t exactly happy to be there. The pizza was delicious, though.
