Delicatezze - LUCCA

This is one of the worst food experiences I have had in otherwise wonderful Italy. You pay for sitting at the table. The service is extremely rude as if you as a guest is more a bother than a customer. The food was very basic and one of the dishes was actually unpleasant. Which is a huge surprise since almost every other place in Italy has great food.

Promising lunch with tables in an artisanal delicatessen. But servers who clearly are not keen on tourists even if one of them speaks Italian. Or a single smile returned. Very, very slow service. Not relaxed, inattentive for such a small place. 100 minutes for a single course is a bit much. Food underwhelming. Clearly microwaves being used and pretty poor portions. The low point of our day in Lucca.

Porchetta with beans and a cannelloni with spinach. Both meals very taste and reasonably priced. Nice little deli/ cafe- quick friendly service

If you are looking for a refined environment is not the right place. If you are looking for traditional Lucchese dishes you have found the place for voisia the mixed appetizer that the wild boar pappardelle were excellent, the desserts (regorously made in the house) divini un prosecco milleesimato accompanied our dinner

I press that what was taken as dishes was good and in the right amount, but there are things I don't like.
