Montana Beach Club - Lucerne

Breathtaking view. During a sunny day, it's the best place in Lucerne to make an aperitif and enjooy the time with friends and family.

Great evening that we spent on Montana Beach club. Apart from the view, which is breathtaking, the service was phenomenal. The entrees appetizers were tasty and generous. Also, I would recommend you to taste to their Negroni, lovely presentation sensational taste. Also, if you have the will , after closing , the hotel's bar has a very comfortable atmosphere 5/5

View is amazing and that’s the only good thing I can tell about this place. Service, terrible. Waiter clearly didn’t care and his attitude was a lot “we have enough guests here so we don’t care if you’ll come back or not”. Dress code on the website and guests in sport clothes, why have a dress code at all then? Drinks… one of the worst I’ve ever had. We ordered beer to start with, we had to wait for it good 10-15min, even though place wasn’t even half full. Beer was out of taste and out of gas, I also suspect not fresh/out of date since it gave me terrible stomach. After beer we wanted to give it a try with a cocktail since it seemed more “beach club style”. We got disappointed as well. Water with drop of alcohol and low quality syrup. Nice view with quality of drinks and service like from cheap beach stand. And place situation ridiculous. Two guys sitting next to us asked if they can switch tables for better one. Waiter said they can’t because it’s reserved, 10 minutes later they didn’t wanna let guests in, because they were about to close. Who was it reserved for then?

For being this iconic lovely place and hotel it’s a pity to have such a bad service in Montana Beach Club Bar! For the price you pay you do not get a good quality product (food or beverage), not even mentioning the service. I guess you are just paying for the beautiful view…online menu and actual menu price do not coincide. Quinoa bowl was ridiculously small, with very thin avocado pieces, seriously? Looked embarrassing. Caipirinha didn’t look as a quality drink for 16 CHF. Basically had Cachaça over the rocks with sugar. And it is in a must have section. When you are in such a nice place and with the prices you have, you expect a good quality everything. Not to mention, I asked for a simple amaretto sour which is not on the list but common it’s classics, was told they can not make it. “You can order only what’s on the menu”. Ok, I’ll order what’s in the menu but make it right and put a bit more effort into it bitte! Do not spoil the ambience of the place and well known Swiss hospitality. Danke vielmal!

Best Rooftop bar ever! Stunning view over the lake and the mountains, very nice staff and yummy drinks&snacks! We're coming back for sure!! <3
