Old Downton Lodge - Ludlow

Wonderful restaurant. they have accompanied our high time, and a year later, their eating is just as beautiful. it was very special to celebrate our anniversary here. delicious food and excellent service.

The personal was immediately welcoming and friendly, which means that we felt welcome and relaxed. a lot of choice of drinks from the bar, personal very know about what they served. did not rush at all and did not feel like we had waited too long for everything. all the foods were exceptional, we enjoyed the makrele and the bark on the tasting menu. the chicken butter will also stay in my head and tasty for a dae-yum! beautiful evening in beautiful environment with beautiful staff.

We were worn by downton lodge. eating was exquisite, really excellent. the personal was friendly and attentive. the location and the building were like a filmet. we will definitely visit again and stay next time. especially.

We loved the service on a quiet Sunday lunch. First course was heritage tomatoes with buratta, basil, olive tapenade and olive oil. An amazing combination. We had traditional Sunday lunch of beef. It was local ingredients and well presented with a wide range of vegetables. Excellent value and a reasonable option of wines. Definitely a destination restaurant

What a place this is! Highly recommend, Its set in idyllic settings and over looks the rolling hills. We went for Lunch and it was £40 for a three course meal
