Were the first time due to previous reviews here. we wanted to go with our friends in ludwigsburg nicely eat and I must say that the negative critikens here I cannot understand (everyone has a bad or not so good day, therefore always visit 2x). we had the allgäu cheese soup, the flutter soup, the maul pockets with mountain cheese, the malted maul pockets and still a meat dish. it was all very good, the maul bags were fresh and very tasty and the suppers excellent. the service (I guess it was the chef personally) was very friendly. eating came in a reasonable time frame. the beer also tastes good. Conclusion: we are coming back as a "new ludwigsburger".
We have landed randomly in this restaurant, which looks somewhat inconspicuous from the outside. it has its own charm, it consists of two smaller hospitables. the menu contains Swabian specialties such as maul bags and various meat dishes. we were well advised, the carvings freshly knocked and the eating was very delicious.
Here you will find everything on the menu of the swedish heart - from melted maul bags to swirl roast and veiled carving (cold) and carving animal art (sweet) to sprinkles (with very tasty potato roast). the restaurant has two stubs, one of them offers large windows to the street. the foods are freshly prepared in the back of the kitchen - so it can also take a little longer or something can be out. clean freshly ironed white tablecloths. You can sit out nicely in the summer.
For years always a pleasure (especially the roasted roast with roasted onions). very friendly service
