To enter some sentences on the background of this current trend, which is quite worth mentioning. Like so many young people in 2018, the Aachener Emer Seker, whose last name is actually translated with “sugar” (you could easily believe in Omen, in the situation, from studying to the seller job, still find in vain that he likes to earn his life daily. In November of the same year he decided courageously and courageously to devote himself to his own shop without baker training: the donut. But what he has now does not have much to do with the classic sugar brother of the bagel. In any case, the fluffy ring serves as a basis, on and in the boundless combinations that really appeal only to a kind of our taste buds. Donuts are of course not strange for the Germans, but this offer of candy filled with all kinds of creams and especially with any known confectionery “stained” Pockets beat the tooth of time and generation perfectly in two ways. On the one hand, in our youth, it was often a highlight to get the most bunny things from the confectionery department from his pocket money without parental exhortation. At the same time, social media of this generation really belong to DNA. Sweet memories and images with equality and heart guarantee make clear what age group of success this chain is based on. On the other hand, this business is naturally predestined for Take Away, preorder and delivery. For example, the young people looking for a variety of things, Corona at any time grants these rare highlights. Long story short: Today Seker has expanded the franchise concept to several European countries with over 170 branches and even Dubai will soon become “Royal”. But it is definitely sympathetic that he can still be arrived at the Cologne camp. In March 2021, Lübeck was also “infected”. As expected, the first weeks were marked by a long serpent that Corona was held in Zaum in accordance with several sacks in the Petri church with distance markings. #royaldonuts was also a new kind of “good” in the Lübeck network. After more than a month, the urge has calmed and, in addition, preorders can be picked up without a long waiting period. Outside view. Interior view. So it was my goal at Christ’s Ascension to address the offer soberly and to try to classify it not only through social media likes and optics, but also through quality and above all differentiated diversity. I couldn't get used to it, but I couldn't imagine that every donut creation is not only dominated by its market leader candy and a monotonous sweetness, which is certainly ordered cheaper by the franchise operator. Whether the donuts have more than one supermarket quality in this concept, I was not sure. I do not want to evaluate any service, ambience and cleanliness at this point, since the contact (with a distance from the local employees on the basis of the pre-order was naturally limited to the transfer of the colorful package. In addition, this was regulated via a side entrance in order to keep the number of persons in the local area as small as possible without the pre-orders having to wait in addition. Nevertheless, you should not forget that the young employee has acted friendly and indisputable and immediately knew about my order. But now the calorie calculator is very deep in the drawer and ran to the sweet Bulettes with hole. In addition to "simplifying" donuts, the online store also offers some glaze, filling, topping and sauce, starting from €2.1, the following categories: Royal Bombs: For €3.5, a Nutella filling is added, which leaves the Calorie bomb still swell. Otherwise, the relevant Ferrero and children often come to the classics, such as Knoppers, Yoghurette, Rocher, etc., and make the ring a muzzle. Cool Bombs: For 4.0€ these are actually more part of the cooler because children want to stay pengui, Maxi King and milkcuts at their usual temperature. Crossnuts : For 4.5 4.9€, the original New York-based fusion of leaf dough (Croissant and Donut) is imported into the German offer and advertised with the speciality that the typical air cushions between the leaves are also used as filling reservoirs. The maximum price is 5.5€ at the Royal Balls. These now have only the round form together with the donut. The basis here seems to be a kind of Berlin-based vineyard, that there are of course more space for filling and filling, which also follows the scheme of the other categories. In order not to shock the pancreas too hard, I decided for this first test with the following duo: The box brightly colored, exactly suitable for the target group. The content of the box with the two pre-ordered Royal Donuts . I did not come to the “Cereal Bomb” for 3.5€ when the famous “Children’s Land” bar was one of my favorite sweets in my childhood. When 90% of the variants felt, this "Royal Bomb" was filled with a Nutella cream. White chocolate was the glue as a glaze and sauce stripe, the bar mentioned, as well as a few honey grains also known from the supermarket fixed on it. It is also positive to mention that the preparation was good in terms of creation, even after a longer transport on foot at home, as it was packed on site. The components were thus well fixed and did not fall off from the ground again with the smallest impacts, which can thus be referred to as designed. Royal Bomb “Cereal Bomb”. Cutting the Royal Bomb “Cereal Bomb”. For chronistic information: This filled variant brought about 130g into the scale. To taste the dough, I had to try to extract a small "red" segment from the cut. A hopeless project, because, as the picture shows, the Nutella cream filling of its name was definitely worthy. If the dough had been dry in any way, it would make this cream optimal. At the same time, the donut was not too compact for me personally, so you would have been busy with correct chewing for two minutes. Although I cannot really look back on a large “donut experience” for a comparative arrangement, I would still rate the pure baked goods quality with 4 stars. But now to the taste of all creation. It can actually be described with only three words: backy, sweet ... and I mentioned sweet? If consistency does not cause overload, it makes sugar anyway. Nevertheless, the promised character of the sweet “Cereals” did not remain on the track. Both the honey muesli and the bar were still nicely crispy and filled my hope to restore this delicious childhood memory from the back corners of memory. After 5 bites, the fun was over, but I don't want to evaluate it negatively, then after more bites the sweetness would have actually been turned into penance. So this first “Royal Donut” was quite funny, even though he could not really leave a “wow effect”. I wanted to find out with the “Krispy Pistachio Cross” for 4.5€ whether the merger really makes sense and a difference to the usual donut. I also spoke with the announced pistachio cream filling. On chocolate glazes, hazelnuts and the giotto pralines based on them added another nutty component. So I was strained on the cut of this variant, which by the way was 150g. Cross nut “Krispy Pistachio Kreuz”. Crosscut “Krispy Pistachio Cross”. With the crowning of a fresh croissant, this cross-mother still filled up had nothing to do. On the one hand, as has been done here with many Take Away reports, however, one should be fair again and note that this copy could of course only be consumed for a long time after its completion. In addition, “baking” would not be possible and also not advantageous because of glaze, topping and filling. This is also the second reason that the "Crossnut" could not correspond to the predicate "Cross", because the pistachio cream filling gave the blank a juicy character, as with classical donut. But also in my opinion, the photo shows that the typical sheet was not just a hollow promise. Compared to the “Royal Bomb” this also seemed noticeable, this creation seemed somewhat more airy and tasty at the same time. I really liked this even better in this comparison and justified the price difference for me. However, it must also be said that the pistachios cream actually differs from the otherwise customary nutella cream, but nevertheless was sweeter than aromatic. Thus the chocolate glaze and especially the hazelnut in the topping were more embossing for the tasteful overall impression. In summary, it would be more for me a “Hazelnut Cross” (i.e. without the crispy and pistachio predicate, but nevertheless prepared me a satisfied culinary smile that a 3.5 of the individual assessment would be worthy of. Were these 8€ pure tasteful and qualitatively considered wages or hohn? This must be a big profit margin in view of the really banal ingredients at such prices, even in view of the large amount of new openings it seems quite safe. However, this is a good thing for the operators, as far as the customer is actually offered something. Personally, I would rate this after this sample for me as follows: craftsmen both donuts were well done and not only amateurish complained about how to make it more often in some well-known fast food franchise. At the same time, I felt the size of the part as positive as it was neither too small nor the feeling of having the sweet fast. She also contributed to the fact that, despite the caution, both creations differ so strongly from each other that one can speak of changes. But whether this would also apply to more than 2 donuts, I would have doubts. I can very well imagine that many sugar bakers can also receive such creations in the same and perhaps even better quality at perhaps even lower price. That's why there are no exciting 5 stars for me. Nevertheless, in no time I had the feeling that this money was a complete misinvestment because it was a completely different kind of culinary fun, I would actually repeat it, because I am sure that in this concept new creations follow here at not too long intervals.

The server did not seem to know what was vegan or what of their donuts were vegan. but fortunately I could easily sign. we are foreign, but my man speaks German. it has not even understood the number of fingers and pointed out. the menu said they were options, but after it was an oreo donut or nothing. the menu said various types of vegan donuts. we found the service so terrible and eating so poor we recommend not to disturb. I'm sure on another day you could get one of the lovely looking donuts. my veggie man tried another taste than the vegan regal, it tasted nothing. Maybe it was because we were strange and vegan, but we got the impression that the server was confused by vegan, even in German. If they are milk/lactose intolerance, they don't eat there, they used the same, clearly contaminated tongs and was particularly bad with hygiene. they get 1 star for vegan donuts. in the world of vegan donuts this was a great disappointment.
I was already a few paintings there and if there were vegan donuts at all, then just covered with chocolate. advertising is especially with those with cool topping, but they need to preorder it. I also, they were incredibly delicious! especially the croissant teig. the price is pretty good, but with the baker they pay a lot for a piece of cake.
Visited several times. they had no vegan donuts, although it is written in large letters on their window!
