Das Freibackhaus - Lübeck

Wide range of whole grain bread and baked goods. So far, everything has tasted very good. Sometimes there is a snake in front of the door, but waiting is worth it.

Unfortunately, they did not have any vegan pastry when I went there. I was hoping for croissants or chocolate pastries, but everything was made with at least) honey. The only thing that would have been vegan were the bread and bread rolls. I'm sure the quality of the bread and the bread rolls is very good, but that wasn't what I was looking for. I ended up having to go somewhere else to get something for breakfast. :

I regularly buy bread (mostly Dinkel sprout) and it is of equal quality. It stays fresh for a week when it lasts so long. The price is in any case entitled.

This bakery offers a good quality and variety of organic breads. Cakes and cookies are quite creative and I often discover something new they invented. Downside is, that this place raised prices by October 2015 significantly, so some offers appear to be more expensive than in other organic bakeries (plain croissant for 2,10 Euro for example). But try out yourself, wether you find the prices acceptable for the good tastes.
