Great location in the center of Luleå. No table service, order by the counter and pick the food up when you buzzer rings. The food was a mixed bag, some of the dishes really good, others underwhelming to say the least. The atmosphere is pretty good and during the summer it is a great place to stop in for a glass of beer or wine.
This eat-out is located in the pedestrian zone of Luleå. It offers a number of cakes and pastries, sandwiches, ice cream, and some freshly prepared dishes. I ordered salmon poké and received a quite interesting interpretation of this Hawaiian dish. In the end, it was just ok. I had to pick up the dish by myself as there is no table service, so this place rather reminds of a canteen than a café or restaurant. For this, it is overpriced. I certainly wouldn’t go into town for the purpose of eating at “Friends”. But I guess it’s alright to stop by.
Eating out is generally expensive and for a tourist Sweden is already expensive; north of Sweden is extra expensive. Here, we ate moderate plates in terms of taste. Side dishes are basically potato chips, you can find better chips in ICA : I would eat at home/hostels kitchen or basically make a sandwich rather than eating here. For a tourist, plates doesn’t compensate the money you spend here...
A slight slim selection of pastry and sandwichens in dark premises. The wrapped assortment in the counter does not produce any major lust.
