Rye Canteen - Luling

This is my favorite spot in SCP. He's taking things to the next level over there with creative dishes and elevated flavors. Great service and nice presentations help Rye Canteen rise above the rest. Keep it up and I'll be back again and again.

I ordered a turkey wrap with a glass of iced tea. My total with tax and tip was $20.47. My debit card was charged $23.76 six times in addition to the $20.47. I've called and asked for the manager to return my call twice. Since he won't, I called my bank and explained the situation. Now I have to dispute it and be issued a new card. The food was NOT worth the $20.47 much less the additional $142.56!!!

The Ruben was perfect! And the sides.....yum...get the mac and cheese side! My new favorite place to eat!

Quick stop in for a to go order. Had the club sandwhich. Cheese was left off of the sandwhich. For $13.00, not hardly worth it!! At least use whole grain specialty bread and make it worth the money instead of grocery store bought enriched wheat bread!!! If you are going to act like a cute uptown cafe, then at least add the touches. Good bread, maybe a slice of avocado on the side, spinach on sandwiches instead of iceberg lettuce.The calories and money would have been better spent at Subway!!

A fresh new restaurant for the area. Food was good. Fresh ingredients and family friendly menu. You had me at Rye but what really sold it was my picky teen devoured the Canteen Club! It's a must try!
