Jumbo - Luton

I have tried several Chinese takeout options in the area, and this one stands out as the freshest and most flavorful. My family enjoys mixing it up and trying different dishes, and Jumbo's menu avoids the generic flavors that cater to European palates. The dishes have a true authentic taste with bold flavors like spicy chili and tangy sourness. Overall, a very satisfying meal.

I travel all over the UK weekly and I have never had a curry sauce that tasted as bad as the one I had at this restaurant! All I could taste was cornflour, it was absolutely terrible. I couldn't even eat the rest of the food.

This was my first time trying this restaurant and I was really impressed. The food was fantastic and came out piping hot. Despite having to wait an hour for my meal, it was worth it.

This takeaway was close to my hotel so I decided to have a walk and to try it. Great choice on the menu, nice lady at counter and an open chef kitchen cooking area where you can watch the chef cooking on the woks. I fancied a curry so chose the house special curry with boiled rice. Chef too around 5 minutes to prepare and cook my takeaway. I took it back to my hotel and sat down in front of my tv. Well the curry was really good and I have tried many! Great creamy paste with a nice amount of heat. Love Chinese curries with onions and mushrooms and here this is standard ad well as chunks of chicken, Chinese roast port and king prawns, a great tasting dish to go with my boiled rice. Definitely one to try

Tried Jumbo whilst staying in the area this week. Extensive menu, the food was superb. Can highly recommend the spring rolls, egg fried rice, chow mein the spiced salt chips. Will definitely use again when next in Luton.
