The food is tasty and great value for money. I highly recommend this place to everyone. Just like other reviews on TripAdvisor have mentioned, if a restaurant can cook Lamb Tikka properly, they can definitely do Indian food right.
We have ordered takeout from this restaurant about six times now, and each time our meal was delivered on time. We have never been let down by the food - every dish we have tried has been flavorful and enjoyable. We highly recommend this place if you enjoy Indian cuisine and want to be satisfied.
I have been a loyal customer at this takeout restaurant for many years. I placed an order for myself and my wife to pick up yesterday evening, 4/1/2022. When I arrived to collect my meal, I questioned the cost. The young man serving me directed me to the owner, who explained that the price of lamb has gone up. He did lower the cost of my meal by £0.79. When I got home and checked the menu, I noticed that the prices of various items had significantly increased since the last menu I had received on 18/09/2021. The prices of Korma dishes had gone up by an average of 20, bread had increased by 27, and sundries had gone up by 32. For example, large chips had increased by 77 and small chips had gone up by 63. I was surprised by the price hikes and found them to be quite high. I'm not sure how much lamb is in the chips, but I am unlikely to return due to the steep increase in prices.
I am a huge fan of Indian food and have tried a lot of different takeaways over the years and none of them have ever come close to the quality of Master Chef. It's easy to see why they have won so many awards because the food is consistently out of this world. The customer service is every bit as good too, they are always really friendly, pop in free food for being a regular customer and happy to customise dishes to your request if needed. I would never go anywhere else in Luton now.
Well, I have been using this takeaway since 2009 and to date I have had zero complaints, However… Tonight’s treat wasn’t a treat at all, both dishes came in “over-spiced”, too Hot, some of the potato’s weren’t cooked through and were hard in the centre, the Dhansak sauce was too hot too, the Missus likes a little heat, a kick but she couldn’t eat her dinner either, very disappointed considering the £30.00 that it cost, after a few mouthfuls we both had to quit! Somebody went a little crazy with the Chilli powder tonite and unfortunately killed what was to be a treat, I don’t know what went wrong because for the best part of 12 years, having lived at 3 addresses in that time, I had always stuck with Master Chef, Hart Hill, I’m sorry to say, we may not be back for a while, my lips are still burning
