Taco John's - Luverne

Taco John's is becoming less and less appealing to me every day. They're overpriced and the food really isn't authentic and doesn't taste all that great. Their menu could use some work and they could think about investing in some new items or upgraded flavors. The guy taking our order made the process very confusing by selecting sides for us without asking, and then specifically asking if we wanted cheese on the side without mentioning it would be extra. I think he wanted to pocket the difference tbh. The burrito was almost cold, soggy, ripped in several places, light on the meat and utterly flavorless. Chips were stale and cheese sauce was fine. The hard shelled tacos had stale shells, and to quote my cousin, the lettuce tastes like stale refrigerator and belly button. Service: Take out Meal type: Lunch Food: 2 Service: 2 Atmosphere: 2

Expensive..... they close early, went to drive thru 20 minutes before posted closing time and no one answered the bell and they weren't in the kitchen either. This is the worst TJ in the area...
