Mosconi - Luxembourg

Luxemburg's top restaurant on reviews and reviews and has a Michelin star rating for many years. chef mosconi has created an absolute wonderful menu with some really sensational aromas with the freshest ingredients. it is very popular and pre-booking is highly recommended. the service staff were attentive, but respectful and had great knowledge about the menu. they cannot be separated from the small partial sizes because the quality is a1. the entrance is located in the ground floor and the restaurant is located in the first floor, which can be reached with the elevator or stairs. when we were gone, each of us got a small bag of cantucci cookies made before place, unexpected and a nice note. will come back.

We were there on a busy Saturday night and went for the tasting menu. The ambience is nice, very elegant but it doesn 't feel overly formal. We were welcomed by a young member of staff and brought to the main dining room upstairs. The menu has some a la carte proposals and two tasting menu (a pasta based one, and a more generic set menu and it was very difficult for us to pick one of the two. Everything sounded delicious. We went for the set menu and enjoyed every little bit of it, but the highlight was definitely the open ravioli with scallop. Unfortunately we did not get to taste the main and the dessert, as we had a little emergency and needed to leave earlier than expected. The staff were very nice, helpful and understanding and even called us a cab to go home. Final touch: they did not bill the whole price of the menu, but a pro rata version of it. They didn 't have to, but they did, and we left with a good feeling, knowing that people at Mosconi care about their customers. We will definitely be back, but this time we 'll try to savour the whole meal :
