Truly a hidden gem. There's no surefire way to explain how the food seems to always make you feel right at home. Honestly, I'd say just go try it out for yourself. Nearly everything on the menu is pretty cheap and is bound to fill you up as well. Plus you get a chance to become part of their Wall of Fame.

Worth the short detour off I-55. Catfish and okra were HOT, delicious, and they know how to pack it right to keep it crispy. Friendly service, great food.

The boneless fish plate was great, except the fries. They tasted old and hard. But I'd definitely would return.
