I can't tell them how many late nights, after many hours of study, I'm mistaken in the familiar halls of this diners, just to sit down and feel the cool, sticky, comforting hug of standing among me. I usually command the same meal, a plate of pfanncake with speck and a sun for the desert. No matter what time it was, these pieces were plentiful and exactly what I needed. sometimes they would enter their order and wait for 30-45 minutes until 3 pancakes are thrown on the grid, but they never complained. the soothing sounds of the Christian radio kept their wut down. sure, the restaurant could be cleaner. I lost almost one of my shoes because he stuck on the floor, but they have an unlimited gardenable. So you're really gonna complain? many students in liberty do not understand the charm of this place unless they live on the east campus, especially on the square. Surely they can come to visit anytime, but for us it was more and more than just a fake diner. for us it was a place of community. a place where we could break brot, catch the big game and see the people who have recognized it from the class admirable. for us the smell from the baths was like a sweet perfume we loved. yes, doc’s diner was more than just a restaurant for me. I dare say it felt a little more like home.
Not bad. a fun place to hang out and you eat is pretty good. not the purest, but I'd like to come here! I only ordered three things from their menu: chocolate chip pancakes, black bohnenburger and chicken strips. they were all good.
If they have a study plan, doc 's is a great place to visit. the atmosphere is good and it is a beautiful change of the tempos from the dining room. visitors of the campus may enjoy the atmosphere or the excitement of eating college life, but there are better eating in the restaurants outside the campus.
Most of the time the staff have a bad attitude. I ordered food in the take out area and after 15 minutes of waiting we were told that our food could take 30 minutes to an hour. There was nothing posted to tell customers this before ordering. So after another 30 minutes and about six or seven people who ordered after me getting their food I cut my losses and left. If this weren’t the only place within reasonable walking distance of my dorm I probably wouldn’t go back. Wasted a meal swipe and almost an hour.
Doc has really improved in recent years. the service is better and faster, eating is better, and it is just a better experience (I will say that I have not been during their hours). I would say they are in the rule a four or five stars (for a campus dining place) depending on the food. Usually there is not much problem, but occasionally I will notice that eating is not exactly what I ordered or it is not fresh (e.g. chicken strips/mozzarella sticks should not be stale). except these times, but in any case a good place to eat.
