Two Sisters Coffee - Lynden

The service was in amazing. The baristas have consistently been nice quick and efficient. When I come through I am acknowledged and I feel welcome. When I come during the rush hours I am still getting the personal experience. I 've waited on my review and the service is top tier good job!

Not sure what the last reviewer was talking about. Two sisters has some breakfast, lunch and snacks- normal coffee house type food- no tacos! Love their coffee! They use a local coffee and they can't be beat! Try a creamy mocha freeze on a warm day, you will be begging for more!

Try Taco Tuesdays. After a road trip to see Silver Lake and Nooksack Falls, we hit Two Sisters on Taco Tuesday night. Our guides, a couple of hippie friends who have a homestead in a rustic meadow on Mount Baker, like this place. The tacos were adequate, under spiced meat but good hot salsa, the usual toppings, beans could use some work. I don 't think any actual Mexicans were involved in making this food. But it 's all you can eat for $5! That excuses a multitude of shortcomings. What was cool about Two Sisters Tuesdays was the people and the atmosphere. It 's down home in a nice Northern (as opposed to stifling Southern way. Lots of local folks chatting about the weather, Whatcom happenings, even a lake where the water exploded one time! (An ice cap trapped early flood runoff in a subterranean mountain lake, and the hydraulic pressure underneath got so high that the ice and water did a mini Mount Saint Helens. Who knew that water could blow up? It was like sitting in at an Elks Club hoedown in Iowa or something. If you go to Two Sisters at any time, order the pie! It 's homemade. They had great berry pies, as you 'd expect from the slopes of the Cascades, plus traditional coconut cream, raspberry rhubarb and something called brumble a kind of cobbler with four kinds of local fruit, including Washington 's great cherries. I don 't know how their coffee is, but great pie can even make burnt truckstop java taste good, and I 'm sure Two Sisters does perks it better than that. There 's also a bar where you can get stronger libations. Friendly service from the staff, too.
