A hidden gem. The staff are soooooo kind and friendly, the selection of cakes and pasties are wonderful. We ate in and we had a very pleasant experience. Highly Recommend.
We popped in here for a coffee and a pasty on the first day of our holiday...ended up with a Belgian Bun too as you do! It was that good, we ended up returning 3 times AND taking some home for the family! The pastry was beautiful and the custard tarts were genuinely the best we've ever tasted. The 3 ladies working in there were friendly, helpful and far more patient than I could've been when dealing with a deliberately difficult customer. Always polite and welcoming which is a breath of fresh air these days! Everything was cooked fresh too. We're looking forward to returning next month....after we've lost the extra lbs gained
We are on holiday in Bashley and we decided to go to Lyndhurst for the day, we came across the Tasty Pastries, so we went in for drinks and ordered lunch too, we had a tuna salad sandwich, Ploughman's, jacket potato with chilli and cheese and a sausage roll, everything was absolutely delicious and very well presented and run by 2 lovely polite ladies. We will definitely be in again when we are this way . Thank you ladies.
I recently visited a restaurant near Lyndhurst multiple times over the past week, and I have to say, their pastries are delightful. The Cornish pasty I had was the best I've ever tasted, and their other flavored pasties were also impressive. The cakes consistently tasted fresh and delicious. The staff was friendly, and the service was excellent. It was a nice touch that the owner remembered us after our visit. Plus, dogs are welcome, which is a bonus!
