Arezzo Pizza - Lyndhurst

I had an exceptional experience with Matt's service—he truly exemplifies what every employee should aspire to be. I placed an order at 2:00, but Matt didn't want me to go hungry. He actually went to his car and brought me a delicious pizza that he had just made. To top it off, he also treated me to some amazing zeppoles. If you're looking for the best pizza place in Arezzo, you won't regret it. Thank you, Matt—you’re fantastic!

Absolutely the best pizza I've ever had! When I called to place an order, I accidentally lost the connection, so I ended up calling another place instead. Unfortunately, that pizza was terrible. To my surprise, Matt called me back to check on my order. I mentioned I had ordered from somewhere else, and he generously offered me half a pizza the next day. After I received the subpar pizza, I called him to express my disappointment, and he immediately offered to go back to the store and make me a fresh pizza for that evening. Honestly, Matt is not only a great person to talk to, but he also has a fantastic head on his shoulders. Thanks to him, I’ll never order from anywhere else!

Since I can't edit my review of Grubhub, I want to share some positive feedback here. Matt, the owner, is a true gem. After a less-than-ideal experience, he went above and beyond to make things right. His Penne Vodka was fantastic, and the cannolis are to die for! Give this place a chance; it truly deserves it!

Great food! Amazing pizza, garlic knotted when this world. Amazing customer service. This guy loves what he does and shows. Make yourself a favor and check this place.

The owner of this place should give most other businesses lessons on how to do customer service correctly. Great guy. Called us back a few times not only to tell us he'd be late, but to offer free food since we had to wait, went out of his way to find a driver (because he was unable to) and called to make sure we were happy with the order. With that out of the way the pizza itself is pretty good for NNJ. Sauce is a bit sweet for my taste on both of the pizzas we ordered. Garlic knots were some of the best i've had and this comes from living in NYC and truly loving knots. Easily the best knots in NJ I've had, hands down with a bit of a zeppole fried ness to it that makes them great. I'd have given Arezzo in Lyndhurst maybe a 3.5 or 4 for the pizza alone, but the knots and the service bumped this up to a five for me on a personal level. They're doing a free pizza day early in may, maybe the first or second. Call to find out.
