I knew nothing about Mazur's and after reading some of the reviews I was quite hesitant to order my wedding cake from their bakery. But I chose a cake tasting, and in the worst case, I would simply choose another bakery. To be honest, I did not like fillings or cakes except chocolate cake, chocolate pudding and oreo filling. Everything else tasted dry, too sweet, not sweet enough, etc. My fiancée and I decided to go with the chocolate cake with the chocolate pudding. The cake was very moist and the filling went perfectly with it. I realized later after talking to some of my colleagues that each layer of cake had different fillings had some caramel, some had butter cream and some had chocolate. One thing that was common was that everyone enjoyed it. Two reviews I had for the cake were that a) I had made a topper custom for our cake and when I fell off the swatches, I also fell off the funnel. I would have hoped that the one who delivered the cake would put the peat on the cake. I've never seen the funnel again and recognized it only after the wedding. b) my wedding colors were fuschia and orange. The Fuschia looked more like a bright pink and so in pictures she did not appear as pink and you could only really see the orange. The cake was still beautiful. I know that in a year, my husband and I will eat our jubilee cake, but this year we decided to eat as much of the top layer as possible and leave only two slices for later. No reason to waste such a delicious cake! Thank you. Mazurs!
I had a Mickey mousecake for my granddaughter. It was Spot on . Not only that it was amazing. People were wonderful. Everyone shaved how beautiful it was and it was so delicious. I'm definitely back.
I had some basic pastries this morning and it was sooo good!!!
I went back to the NJ office for a while, but can't wait to visit the Brooklyn site! My favourite pastry was the Honey Kouign Amann; the dough melts so delicious in my mouth. In terms of food, I tried the mushroom quiché with truffle parmesan and would recommend it safely through the pizza! The taste was amazing. I also loved setting up the place, it's super beautiful and chill.
I don't know why I didn't try this bakery earlier! All we had was fresh and delicious! The tasty cakes should die both for the campfire Croissant, pecan pie sticky bun, paris-brest, almond croissant and cheese danish! Prices are decent and customer service is slow, but it is worth it!
