The Wok Shop Thai Malaysian Cuisine

Utter chaos. They lost my order and asked me to prove I had ordered with them fortunately I had kept the receipt. When the food eventually did arrive (half an hour late) it was lukewarm, overdosed with salt, greasy and tasteless. From irate comments by other customers I could tell I was not alone. If one was being charitable one might say that these are teething troubles but it is certainly a most inauspicious start.

My all time favourite place for a meal in Perth! The team at the wok shop are the most smiley and kind hearted people in the industry. Located next to IGA makes for a perfect night in! You can grab some treats from IGA and have your delicious malaysian cruisine and take it all home for a night in and share with all of your friends and family. I have been coming to the Wok Shop going on 3 years and I have never been let down. Have introduced this place to all of my friends and they love it just as much as I do. Thanks for all the delicious meals.

So I ordered my usual meal of mee goreng with extra sauce and chicken, I have ordered this item many times before 5+ times, when I recieved my meal it definitley was not what ordered visually and the taste from experience was not the same at all, for a start the multiple times I ordered it before it did not come garnished with carrot tomato or coriander, I know for a fact it was incorrect because I would not have eaten it if it had come in to contact with coriander. I rang the wok shop and explained my situation I was disgusted with the attitude and lack or respect for the consumer . During my explanation I was confronted with argument after argument, pushing the fact that I was wrong and that they knew what they were cooking, and yet I had ordered the meegoreng 5+ times before and it was completely different.All in all I’m completely astounded with the lack of respect and communication skills and attitude of the employees at the wok shop. I will making my review go viral and hope that no one has to experience what I did if I could I wouldn’t even give 1 star it should recieved no stars

We had a lovely dinner here. A small place with casual table and chairs. Fine in or takeaway. Order your main in medium or large size. Medium size main is small if you have 8 persons dining as a group. Try getting a large serve. Clean place to eat. Good for families with kids.

Delicious food and lovely service. Will definitely return.
