I had the vegetarian Banh mi Chai sandwichTofu and salady stuff were very tasty (how I miss cilantro in France)! at a decent price.
While studying abroad in Lyon I would come here at least once a week with some friends to grab a cheap and delicious lunch. The owner, Phillipe Ho, is very friendly and passionate about his great idea. Can't recommend it enough even for those who don't typically like Asian food- a must see in Lyon.
And certainly the best in all of France. The sandwiches are generously stuffed with the fillings and the crunchy crust makes for the most authentic banh mi experience (despite the lack of paté) since our wandering the streets of Saigon with sandwiches in hand. Try the sauce Cervelles de la Guill' for a Lyonnaise twist to your meal.Friendly owner who delivers superb service and patiently explains to diners unfamiliar with the sandwiches. We are making this a regular weekly lunch spot.
Delicious sandwiches, great noodle dishes or salads, very reasonable prices and lovely service. You can ask for extra sauce or cilantro. Eat there or take your sandwich in the parc right in front or sit by the river.
