Bistro Regent - Lyon

When you make of your image fresh and the home made fries taste like they've been on hold and are then inedible 3 mins after serving you have to question if they are in it for the money or for the love of cooking. Simple uncomplicated menu that should be easy to explain but when we asked our waitress questions she could not respond. Strange. Will not return.

We enjoyed this place, good service, best priced wine we had in Lyon. Menu is basic, s people have said, we had the duck and steak, the duck was excellent. Loads of chips, which are served in a big bowl, and a big bowl of lettuce. Good friendly service, all for under €40.

The place is very cosy , love the restaurant and the decor , the food the real nice as well as its presentation ! Went with friends and we all ordered duck and we weren't disappointed. Ohh and dont forget the unlimited friieess (free refills )

This restaurant is in the heart of Lyon. Very busy but the staff do an excellent job of serving everyone efficiently.The menu is very simple: there are no starters, the mains range from a choice of about 5 dishes: salmon, duck and beef with their signature source. Served with unlimited salad and chips. There are a choice of around 5 deserts also.The food is very good and staff are friendly and efficient.

Our kids have been struggling with the food in Paris. When we arrived in Lyon tonight, we stumbled upon this restaurant among the others on the charming little street. The choices are few but the food was excellent. The kids had steak frites and my husband had steak tartare. The sauces were delicious and the food very plentiful. All for an incredibly reasonable price. Great spot!
