The hot reception of the physical phone, we enjoyed with the lamb mouse the shells of Saint Jacques! In general, I hate liquorice, but the chef's liquorice sauce splashes me. No chichi for the map of the desserts simply soft We will come back to relax our gastronomic palaces without any hesitation
A traditional and authentic restaurant. A beautiful room and a warm welcome from the restaurateurs couple installed there for 29 years! The menus are appetizing, 27 and 34 euros, cheese and dessert.
Excellent cuisine prepared in front of us. A single menu at 31€ you come out enchanted. The more awesome the frame is. I love the mustache of the chef’s boss and his friendly mood. Ma'am takes care of the service with great care. I recommend!
When you enter the room (do not forget to book otherwise it can be complicated), you are warmly welcomed by Pierre and Odile. Just back in this room, you feel well, taken in hand by Odile, you see all the experience accumulated for years, it is a ballet fixed to the millimeter, with the accustoms who arrive to fill the tables as they go. Meanwhile, Mozart plays in the kitchen. For me it is the essential tar of frozen rabbit, I find the flavors of the house (with Odile recommendations on small bones that can be found). Then came the Saint James, Peter mastered all the cooking of fish and meat to perfection, it is a virtuoso of the piano. Tonight, Saint Marcelin was refined to perfection by a better cheesemaker in France, it was a real gourmet. And to close this meal, the round of homemade desserts, no less than 10 desserts to choose. I don't come to Lyon without going through the Retrouvailles to enjoy this warm atmosphere only one night, I feel like home. Just for you to go for the price of two fast food (sweet) you will have a gourmet meal, I say I'm not saying anything...
What a wonderful evening we spent in this Lyon restaurant! More tasty admissions to each other, just as delicious dishes (the turbo.. aaahh the turbo! ... cheese and dessert... and what desserts... here only from home... never had I eat such a good Saint Honoré... The 29 years of experience of this traditional French cuisine restaurant can be found. You can only find 28 seats every night... so hurry up and book before the owners retire! Then it'll be too late!
