The cakes are incredible, I recommend the foot long éclair. the cafe will also allow dogs in the inner, but please respect others who use the cafe, because not everyone has a love to dogs. parking is available directly in front of the caffe via a pay and display.
Well worth a visit, enjoyed the view through the window looking out to the beach. Service and Staff were very good, and so was the food and drinks. Thanks...
Group of us tried here (1st last time) for lunch. I ordered regular sized chips and curry sauce... over priced, ridiculously small portion of chips that were luke warm and the curry sauce was so watered down it tasted of nothing. Others had no better luck with cod and chips. Wafer thin piece of fish that was oily and tasted bland with again warm chips. Wish we'd read the reviews first. I'd give it a miss if I were you
We stopped here at the Cafe on the Pier at St Annes for fish and chips for lunch yesterday. While the fish appeared nice on the face of it, the chips were very overdone and didn’t look all that nice. It rained and so we ran to the car to eat. The meal did taste a bit odd but we thought it was the overdone chips. Half the chips were given to the gulls. By early evening, neither of us felt hungry but instead quite nauseous. We both were up all night with vomiting and diarrhoea which we can only attribute to this take away meal as we were both otherwise well and had nothing else to eat after we had been there. We feel very reluctant to purchase from here again.
Tasteless chips and dry, crumbly breadcake, the staff member was beyond rude, young dark haired female who qas miserable and rude. Simply shouted next to people in the queue and people looked stunned at her attitude. I asked for extra salt and vinegar and she replied I have put it on and closed the box. Asked for plastic fork as had ordered beans, she said she put it in the bag and she hadn't. Why doesn't she just quit if she doesn't like the job and give it to someone who will value it. We are customers not people to be looked down upon. Also rude stating didn't have change and had to put it on the card or can't serve you (no sign stating this for people in the queue who may not have a card with them). Disgraceful arrogant staff member who shouldn't be in a public facing role, and delivering substandard and expensive food. Stunned, simply stunned.
