The Clifton Arms - Lytham St Annes

Five adults and a dog visited this restaurant on Easter Sunday. We started with black pudding and pepper sauce, pitta and dips, deep fried brie, and garlic bread with cheese - all were outstanding. For our main course, we had two chicken dinners, gammon and egg, lamb dinner, and moussaka. The food was delicious and I highly recommend this restaurant.

My family and I went to this restaurant for a meal while staying nearby. Despite there being only two staff members working the bar and waiting tables, they were very professional and managed to keep a cool head, even with a party of 13 present. They were considerate enough to warn us to order soon so we wouldn't be delayed by the large group. The food, including curry for my wife and pizzas for myself and our boys (one meat feast and two pepperoni), was delicious and homemade. Even the pizza was clearly homemade and perfectly cooked. We also enjoyed some flavorful dirty fries on the side. We would definitely return and recommend this place to others, even just for a drink. Kudos to all the staff for their great work.

After a busy morning helping our daughter move house, we decided to stop at the Clifton for some food and drinks since we were in the area. I would give them more stars if possible, as it is a true gem. They have a large car park, lovely outdoor seating, and a warm and friendly welcome. It's a local pub where you are well taken care of. The food and drinks were excellent, with plenty of options to choose from. We both ordered from the light bites menu and were surprised by how much food we received - it felt like a full meal. A big thank you to the team at the Clifton, it was a delightful visit. If you ever find yourself passing through the area on your way to Lytham or the coast, I highly recommend stopping in.

This is the first time we have eaten in here. We didn't have a table booked but they were so accommodating. The service was second to none, fabulous food, great atmosphere and also fantastic prices. If you have not been before I would recommend this place. I will be back soon. Thank you to everyone involved today, we had a amazing day, keep up the great work.

Food was good and very tasty. Like a lot of places a bit understaffed. There only seemed to be 2 people on the food side and were rushing around. We waited for a while but the meals were cooked fresh and not reheated which is always worth the wait. I would definitely go back
