African Delights - Mableton

So it was completely dead in there only 1 guy! I ordered the lamb mafe fufu. The man said he would make it fresh. But as I was waiting in this quiet restaurant I could hear him getting the food out the fridge and putting it in the microwave. I got home and it was still ice cold in the middle. He maybe had it in the microwave 2 minutes each container. It tastes good but for $21 I was hoping for freshly made food! I would give this a solid 4. I got the lamb curry with traditional African rice cake. The lamb curry had too many potatoes than actual lamb itself which was a bit disappointing. Other than that, the curry tasted pretty good. The African rice cake was very gooey thoogh, not sure if it’s supposed to taste that way. Friendly atmosphere and good food. 4 stars because I was expecting the usual spicy food west African food is known for, but still really tasty. The oxtails and egusi soup are delicious. Going back for the okra soup.
