Shining Waters Bakery - MABOU

The French toast and bacon at this cafe were a delicious way to kick off the day. The atmosphere is charming and the service was quick and friendly. I would definitely come back again.

Shining Waters is only open for breakfast and lunch. We just recently ate there and upon the recommendation of one in our group, had the big Clubhouse, and by big, I mean HUGE.... There are 3 choices of bread, white, whole wheat and porridge. There were 3 in our group, we each tried one of each type of bread. I had the Porridge bread. Back to the Club... I said it was huge and it is, chock full of big chunks of turkey and the standard ingredients. Trust me, you won't be eating anything else, unless you haven't eaten for a while. The only drawback was that maybe there was a bit too much mayo, but that being said, you have to give it a try. I will again.

We stopped in for breakfast while heading through town. You've got to be looking for this place or you'll miss it. Excellent breakfast and coffee.

The best club sandwich anywhere. Thick home made bread, lots of real chicken and bacon. Grilled cheese real good. French toast super. Cookies were huge and filling. Kids loved that there was fried bologna as well. Service was fast and friendly. Real home made everything!
