Feedback gevenThis cozy restaurant, run by a family, has just five or six tables. The father manages the front of the house, while the mother and son work in the kitchen (with the son also helping with serving). The decor is pleasant, although the ambiance is not particularly noteworthy. However, the real highlight here is the delicious food and affordable prices. They offer a good variety of Thai dishes made with fresh ingredients and generous portions. Their eat-in prices are the same as their takeaway prices, making it a great value. The only downside was that the meal was a bit bland, possibly catering to the local palate. I would recommend asking for extra chili next time. Keep in mind that this restaurant does not have a liquor license.
A quiet little place, love the thai decorations and mementos on the walls. Relatively cheap and generous servings plenty of leftovers. The vegetarian pad thai was particularly delicious!
Food is lovely and the prices are awesome. It is a lovely quiet place to sit down and have some great food. Our book club meets there and we can hear ourselves talking with no background noise.
The food was good and very tasty. Went there with two friends for their $9 and $10 lunchtime deal. The restaurant is run by the chef, who does everything by herself. No waiting staff during the daytime and she runs the restaurant well. At the end of the meal we were anticipating a bill for around $30, however, the bill presented to us was $54. When we questioned the owner she stated she gave us the non lunchtime menu sized portions which do not include rice. The rice for the 3 people was $7.50 and the meals were between $14 and $17 each and not the $9 $10 options for lunch which includes rice. Very disappointed and finished our meal on a sour note.
A birthday do brought us here. As other have said, it won't be winning any awards for its ambience. 9 of us for dinner on a quiet night with only one other table occupied. I have never seen a Thai waitress more disinterested in what was going on. There was no offer to help us open our beers so I went back to car to get a bottle openner. Later in the evening, my wife went to a lot of effort to organise piles of dirty plates but not a word of thanks and no smiles were spotted this night. The fish cakes that were served were burnt and dripping in oil- they should have been binned! That said, some of the other dishes were delicious and serves were reasonably generous. Aussie manager (owner) started to help with serving later in the night and was very friendly. No probs in being given take-away dishes so we could take home left-overs. Others at the table have had Take-away previously and have been pleased with the food. I'm not sure they would get my repeat custom, definetely not for eat-in!
