Adega Velha Portuguese Cuisine - Macau

Cosy small restaurant with authentic Portuguese food. Excellent quality.

Really tasty food and a nice interior. The roast pork was succulent with crispy skin. Just not enough. Other dishes were also tasty but again, not big portions. I found it a little expensive after coming from HK but maybe prices are generally higher here. Efficient service.

So we tried this as a hidden gem. Some flavours of some dishes were good, but the set menu was mediocre at best and from a value for money standpoint, prices seem to be aligned with a tourist market with entrees between Mop 170 and 230+. Not sure I'd return

My first visit to ADEGA. Sadly a dismal experience. Ordered the suckling pig; meat not fresh, poor cuts, no flavour and had to ask for food to be reheated. I realise given the current economic situation cut backs are necessary. Maybe better to temporarily remove items from the menu rather than serve bad food.

Very good atmosphere, fairer price and authentic eating. brilliant service also
