A beautiful country pub with genuine staff and owners who really enjoy the company of their patrons. With an ever improving beer garden atmosphere, live entertainment and fantastic meals this hotel is at the top of my list of favourites. Do yourself a massive favour and visit soon, even if the winter weather is unforgiving you can still be guaranteed a warm welcome to spend the visit in the pub or the outdoor undercover area. Fantastic !

A true country pub, with top food and hospitality. You definitely won’t go away hungry!

I've had a variety of meals from the Maccy, both dine in and take away. They have all been sensational. You can't beat the value. Large servings and very reasonable prices. Apart from the meals, the owners Yorky and Jen, are amongst the friendliest Pub owners I've ever met and they have nailed it with their staff. You will always be made to feel welcome from them all. To add to that, the locals that frequent the Maccy are also a friendly and welcoming bunch. Well worth a beautiful drive through the Adelaide Hills for a great meal in a friendly atmosphere.

So family friendly, my 2 year old son had so much fun playing in the beer garden. The food was delish and the staff super friendly, will be returning for sure
