Enoteca Le Case - MACERATA

This is a hotel, with outbuilding rooms, that is set up as a wedding venue. Great for weddings, large grounds, plenty of parking, but ..........if you are staying there it is NOISY. One night the disco finished at 01.30 . The food is basic, nothing fancy, but cooked well, very reasonable for a hotel restaurant. Would I stay there again .............No. If you do stay though have a hotel room, as our outbuilding room had not sound proofing at all. Breakfast fairly basic continental breakfast, but included in our price.

We had the vegetarian menu, the dishes where simple with few ingredients but they where cooked to perfection. The imaginative use of fresh herbs made a pasta with yellow tomato sauce into a fun experience. Also, the pizza served in Le Case other restaurant is one of the best I ever had. Check which restaurant is open.

There was nothing wrong with the food so to speak but it bib not derserve one star. I imagined the chef laughing in the kitchen while we got cheap produce with not much done to then. Not a good dinner. The pizza in the normal resturant on tuesday was to die for.

Difficult to judge with a fast working lunch, generally acceptable.

Aperitif with basic appetizers. Good cocktails. basic snacks are abundant but not soft. average high prices for performance.
