Plaza Los Panchos - Machesney Park

The food was good, but it didn't feel authentic. The horchata tasted more like milk with Splenda, which was disappointing. We also had a problem with flies landing on our food and drinks, which was quite off-putting. If you could address the fly issue and serve more authentic Mexican cuisine, I might consider returning. Overall, I’d rate the food a 3 out of 5.

I don’t visit this restaurant very often because of the distance from my home, but it's truly the best Mexican place in the Rockford area. The food is always fresh and delicious, the drinks are excellent, and the service is outstanding. Plus, the prices are very reasonable! Food: 5/5

The customer service was outstanding, and the food was fantastic. It came highly recommended, and it definitely lived up to the expectations! We enjoyed complimentary chips and salsa, and we didn’t even need to ask for a refill. The portion sizes were generous as well. The empty plate truly speaks for itself! Food: 5/5

Service and food were great. Decoration is nice, just not very clean inside. Window ledges look like they hadn't been wiped in months. Caddys were dirty to the point of gross.Kid-friendliness: Kid menu available
