Macleay Island -pub Paradise

Great pub a real hub for the islanders. We visited while on holiday over the Australia Day weekend. We found a very fun atmosphere. Friendly staff, reasonably priced drinks and surprisingly good food Price per person: A$20–40 Food: 5 Service: 5 Atmosphere: 5

Car park bottle shop parking has become an accident waiting to happen, badly need drive thru. Cold takeaways would be nice for a change, fridges need to be restocked night before. Hoping new owner will look into problems as it has the potential to be a great hotel. Entrance blocked on Wednesdays due to truck unloading, was ok when less population not now. Unfortunately hotel has become very rough, fights, arguments etc not the place to enjoy a cold one.

You have misspelt Macleay Island. There is no capital L. Your address is wrong on google too. Apart from that I’ve only used the bottle shop and it was good, and getting better. Food: 3 Service: 5 Atmosphere: 4

Really not impressed . 40 mins for food, staff kept bringing out dishes to give us but they were for another table. No one gave us a table number . No idea what they are doing . One dish came out then nothing for another 20 mins. Child sitting here hungry and couldn’t eat the one spicy dish that came out. It’s not busy guys. Get it together . For the price of 60 plus dollars for a couple of dishes, some organisation would be good Food: 1
