Feedback gevenWhile the lobby is usually open to customers, it seemed they were short-staffed, leading to a long line that stretched all the way to the road, causing chaos with traffic. We had to wait at least 15 minutes before we could even place our order. I was looking to buy a dozen original glazed donuts and wanted six chocolate glazed donuts as well. However, the person at the window rudely informed me that the coupon only applied to the dozen original glazed donuts. I had to repeat that I was trying to order the additional six chocolate glazed donuts separately from the original glazed ones.
The door was closed at 8 PM, even though a worker was inside. No one acknowledged us; the sign said "open," and the donuts looked delicious, but it seemed like no one wanted to help. I think it's a place that could use some improvement, as I tried to assist them, but they really need to make an effort first.
The donuts had some flavor, but they were the worst I've ever had. I took a bite and was overwhelmed by an awful taste, forcing me to spit it out. They had an unpleasant smell as well, and they seemed old, as if the staff was just pouring warm glaze over them. They were only fit for the trash can.
This is the crispy crime I grew up. we called it the theater because we go in and watch the hot and fresh donuts are fried and glazed. as a youthful with an interst at cooking it was amazing to see the automation. Although we have another KK location in our city, this is the classic experiment and a person drives from miles to experience.
Today I called Krispy Kreme around 9:15am to ask if they had cinnamon rolls and they did. I was calling because I was on my motorcycle and couldn't pick them up right away, but wanted to ensure they had some available. The young lady asked me how many and I told her 4 and that I'd be there at 4:30pm to pick them up. While on the phone with her, she helped me order for pick up through the Krispy Kreme app. Everything was confirmed and I went on about my day. I get to Krispy Kreme at 4:30 and learn that my order, which was confirmed and paid for, was sold to someone else! I was so disappointed. Not only did I drive 30 minutes one way, I have to wait a week to get cinnamon rolls that I already paid for. I think I will go ahead and have them process my refund and I will not deal with this particular Krispy Kreme again. At least they apologized, that's the only thing positive I can say. How do you fix this so it doesn't happen to someone else in the future?
