DO NOT GO!!!! Mediocre food at an insane price. Atmosphere is that of a filthy restaurant that has been shut down. Paid $10 US for a scoop of guacamole that was smeared on a plate and another $3 for the chips that came with it.... The price gouging went on and on for the whole meal. Absolutely insane. Had no idea until we got the bill. They smile to your face while ripping you off. The same meal would have been half the price in the US.

The food is not worth it at all. Overpriced and also don’t trust your tour guide . It was our first time in Ensenada don’t make the same mistake we did. Food: 1 Service: 5 Atmosphere: 5
I was actually going to leave a 5 star review until I realized we got SCAMMED. This restaurant is DECEPTIVE. I usually avoid the touristy strips and check out local restaurants. Although, my lack of local currency made me look for a restaurant that accepted credit cards. These tourist traps are always going to be expensive as they have charge in USD, but that 's to be expected. My group included 4 and we each ordered one drink and one entree and shared a guacamole starter. The server was friendly and we opted to sit inside since it was empty it was a Monday late afternoon). He took our order and came back with a free shot 3 total). We ordered 3 fish taco plates at $10 each. According to the menu, the 'orders ' of 3 tacos come with rice and beans. When the server dropped off our food, none came with rice and beans. When I asked him, he said No that means $3 extra . On the attached menu it says With rice and beans) order with 3 . That does not imply additional cost otherwise it would 've been designated as such. Also, they had a flyer outside the restaurant stating $1 fish tacos. When I inquired with the server, he assured me that that $10 order fish tacos were fresh red snapper) and the $1 fish tacos were frozen. I was hungry and ordered some of the dollar tacos as well. The taste was no different, especially after you pile on the salsas and slaw. When we ask for the bill, I get 4 slips of handwritten receipts. The server mentions that the total is on the back. The various receipts have illegible scribbles of menu items and prices but no subtotals. One of the receipts has the total $116 USD). As mentioned, I expect to pay a pretty penny when I 'm in a tourist trap. I wasn 't expecting to pay this much considering we didn 't order much especially drinks as I know those can add up and be pricey in any restaurant). We 're about to pay with a credit card and the server says that 's the machines are [suddenly] off. That 's not what we wanted as we could 've paid in cash and could 've gone to a much less expensive restaurant. Begrudgingly, I pay cash and the server throws a glance towards the back of the shop. Something about it seemed off but I didn 't think much of it. I pay and the server makes sure to take the copies of the receipt. Not until later when I manually calculate everything do I realize that scammed. We got overcharged about $20-30. I don 't mind spending money, but I don 't like getting scammed. I will never go back to this restaurant and I suggest you avoid it or beware of these practices.
