Rifugio Bar Ristorante Wengwaldhutte

Enjoyed an excellent lunch with the family during our ski holiday in Macugnaga Feb'22. The gnocchi was lovely, also the Macugnaga pasta and selection of panini for the kids. Afterwards on the terrace looking down the Valle Ansazca with caffe correto in hand was a wonderful way to finish lunch. Staff are charming and very friendly. Strepitoso e Grazie!!

The place is just ar the arrival point of the chairlift of Belvedere. It is already a.great spot to admire the alps. We had just a quick coffee before starting the hike to Rifugio Zamboni. Very nice staff and great coffee

We ate lunch here last year and could not resort returning this year!it is worth the drive and the two chair lift rides. The view is stupendous and the food is up to the same standard!! One friend ate Cervo (deer) with Polenta and thought it was exquisite. Many of us ordered the Strozzapreti with pomodorini, melanzane and ricotta. Amazing! The desserts were also delicious and the meal was served with a smile! The wifi is great too.

Siamo stati in questo locale a pranzo. La location è molto bella con una vista spettacolare Il personale è gentile e il servizio abbastanza veloce Il menù non molto vario ma sufficientemente hanno inoltre dei piatti del giorno almeno oggi era così Arriviamo al punto dolente: la qualità del cibo, assolutamente da rivedere. Ci hanno portato tre antipasti offerti (sembrava farro con verdure), insapori io non sono riuscita a mangiarlo. Io e mio marito abbiamo preso dei gnocchetti che galleggiavano in un sugo che sembrava annacquato, i gnocchetti sono totalmente insapori tanto che ho chiesto il sale. Non abbiamo preso altro solo un caffè. Il prezzo è in linea con i prezzi che ci sono in locali di montagna. Mi spiace perchè il locale si trova in una splendida posizione ma ci si può fermare per un caffè e non per un pranzo.

Posto meraviglioso. Cibo eccellente molta gentilezza del personale. Mangiato pasta alla Macugnaga strepitosa. Dopo il pranzo una bella passeggiata fino al paese e la giornata diventa top
