My grandkids and I were excited to go out for a meal before heading to the movies. I checked the website to confirm their hours, which stated they close at 10:00 PM. However, when we arrived at 9:00 PM, the hostess was about to seat us when someone from the kitchen informed her that they were closed. She explained that they decided to close early due to a slow evening, but I saw other customers still seated, seemingly waiting for their food and orders. It was quite disappointing for all of us. It would really help if they updated their hours online. The kids ended up settling for Taco Bell, but I had my heart set on a cheese pizza, and no one makes it better than they do. I moved to the Bay Area a few years ago and haven't been able to find pizza that even comes close to DiCicco's cheese pizza, so whenever I visit family, DiCicco's is definitely a must for me.
My husband took me out for my birthday celebration, and I had a wonderful time seeing my cousins, uncles, and their kids all gathered together. However, it seemed like the hostess was a bit overwhelmed, and the food took a long time to arrive. Unfortunately, it wasn't as good as I remember it being in the past.
At 4:13 a.m., I placed an order with a rather rude employee, who claimed it would be delivered in thirty minutes. I knew better than to expect it right away, so I waited patiently. An hour passed without my food arriving. When I called to check, I was told it would be there soon. Another hour went by, and after calling again, I spoke to three different people, only to find out that my order had never even been processed. After two hours of waiting for food that never came, this is simply unacceptable and unprofessional. The owner should take more pride in their staff. Every employee is a representative of the business, and it seems that standards are set alarmingly low. I appreciate Gina's apology, but the other two employees—whose names I don't know—were dishonest with me and kept me waiting for a meal that would never arrive. My business deserves better treatment, and due to this experience, I have lost all respect for the place. It’s disheartening to see employees with no sense of pride in treating customers with respect and dignity. After all, it's the customers who keep businesses like this afloat. Thankfully, I don’t know the names of those incompetent employees, but I believe they should feel ashamed and receive proper training on how to interact with the public. I expect better from any business I choose to give my time and money to.
I gave a star to write my comments. Every time I go to this place, I get sick. Physically ill, as if I had been poisoned. It's obvious that the chefs don't know how to drain pasta properly, because whatever you get with pasta is saturated in water. When I made the whole dish a catastrophe, I liked the calzone that was baked with cheese and broccoli the ingredients I like. But every time all dough is barely baked, little cheese and little or no broccoli. The only time I find food is when the owner is there during the lunch break. Unfortunately, he's not there in the nights. I go there with a good friend, but I told him after the last night experience I will never go back. There's so much more I could say, but I just don't have time to waste. Bottom line is that more often than not I find the food and sometimes the service extremely disappointing.
First time at this location. I did enjoy it especially because of how fast my food came out. Has the shrimp Alfredo pasta. Make sure to put on some Tabasco salsa just to make it even better. Enjoy
