The food was delicious and not expensive. When we ran out of money, Kumar generously let us eat for free after we won 100 rupees. We are grateful to him for helping us get to the airport when my credit card wouldn't work. Kumar is an honest and kind person, and we will always remember his hospitality. I highly recommend his restaurant and the warm welcome he provides. If you are near Margao bus stand, do not miss the opportunity to enjoy his friendly service and tasty food.
The owner of this hotel, Mr. Suvarna, was excellent. He helped us with recommendations for local cuisine and was very friendly in sharing information about other popular attractions in Goa. We would definitely visit him again if we return to Goa.
This restaurant is a typical place known for its Thali specials. The owner, who is originally from Mangalore, puts in the effort to curate a menu that reflects the region's cuisine, even in its simplest Thali offerings. We decided to visit this spot on our last day in Goa, located right across from the Margao bus station where we were waiting for our airport bus. After dining at various upscale restaurants and beachside eateries, we found the Thali here to be a memorable representation of Goan food. We ordered the pomfret Thali and the chicken Thali. The pomfret was well-marinated and satisfied our taste buds, while the chicken was also flavorful. It was a pleasant surprise to discover such delicious food at a reasonable price right next to the bus station. Travelers looking for authentic and tasty meals are encouraged to stop by this unassuming restaurant.
This is a typical Thali special place. The owner of this restaurant hails from Mangalore and takes the effort to understand your choice of food even when serving a simple Thali. We happened to visit this place on our last day of stay in Goa. It is located bank opposite the Margao bus station where we were waiting for our airport bus to arrive. After eating at various classy, fine dine places and multiple beach shacks, we found this thali a perfect memory to part with for Goan food. We had the pomfret thali and chicken thali. Pomfret served here was very well marinated and satiated our taste buds. Of course chicken was good too. It was pleasant surprise to find excellent food, reasonable priced and right outside the bus station. If you are more of a traveler than a tourist, you are sure to stop by this shady looking place serving good food.
