This restaurant used to be excellent back in the day, but sadly it has declined in both service and quality. The Goan dishes are lacking in quality, the lighting in the air-conditioned room is dim, and the service is quite apathetic. It would be wise to look for another restaurant in the vicinity.
After exploring the nearby markets and gardens on a hot morning, there's nothing better than enjoying a cold beer and some snacks. The restaurant has two areas: one with air conditioning (a bit dark) and one without (which is perfectly fine). The menu mainly consists of Goan and Portuguese dishes. The stuffed crab is a standout if you're a fan of crab. The service is slow and could use some improvement.
I and my wife visited Longuinhos on 5th June 2017 during our trip to margao market. Nice and cosy place for a quiet dinner with spouse. Food was good but considering the price the quantity was very less. Ambience is good and fortunately we were there on a week day and hence there was not much crowd. Nice place to have a quiet and peaceful dinner.
We visited after a busy morning in the markets for lunch. The food was good prices ok and more importantly toilets clean and in good condition. There are two areas you can sit in here, if you select the room with the AC you will though pay more 10% I think. Do though try the 'Urak' local drink related to Fenny but not if you are driving.Staff were attentive and service quick, beer cool and food varied but tasty.
