However on 12/30/22, we got there two hours before the 7pm game. The place was packed and there was one bartender and one server. We sat at the bar and I saw a few people coming up wanting to cancel their order b/c they never got served. We waited, and waited and waited, but never got our food. Then we got in line at the register to cancel our order too and the bartender couldn't find it. Not only did we not get any food, they couldn't cancel our order. I got a text message during the game saying my bill would be auto closed and charged to my credit card. This is a management failure. It was winter break and the students were gone, who likely make up some of their staff. The staff, ahem... 2 people, that were there did the best they could but they were 1000% overwhelmed. I'll be taking my gameday experience elsewhere next time. I suggest you do as well. Plenty of other nearby restaurants.
UPDATE after multiple phones calls of not being able to get a hold of someone, a person at BWW did answer the phone and got ahold of doordash to deliver again with another order. Different driver but it made to me this time nearly 3 hours after we placed the 1st order. BWW not answering phone and Doordash said they can’t help. Tried calling multiple times to talk to the store and no one is answering. Doordash driver Lonnzo H dropped off the food somewhere, but it’s nowhere to be found by our door.
The quality of Buffalo Wild Wings has dropped drastically in the past 3 years, including pre pandemic. I 'm not sure if their business model has changed and they 've decided to source from the cheapest options, or if they have just really given up on even attempting to provide quality wings. Their boneless wings are dry and chewy and have a god awful off taste. I 'm not sure if it 's the packaging, the storage, the quality of the product, or all three. Their traditional (bone in) wings, as if jealous of their boneless counterparts ability to compete with the Sahara, are equally dry, often rubbery, and also have an off taste unbefitting of a restaurant. It almost seems as though the product is overcooked, then left under a heat lamp for half a day. On the off chance that you order delivery or pick up, you 'll most likely get food that is lukewarm on a hot day. Any hope of sides like fries pulling up from the rear is laughable, as those will be mushy and bland. If you order anything besides dry rub, you 'll be shocked at how much they are lacking sauce these arid bone dry wings do everything they can to draw up the moisture from the sauce, though I 'm not sure where it 's going as they are still left dry and disappointing. Don 't even bother ordering 'wet ' as they rarely (and I mean rarely, 1 out of 9 orders pulled it off) add additional sauce, and even when they do, it 's still laughable. If you call to speak to someone about the issues, regardless of how understanding, accommodating, or nice you are, you might as well talk to yourself, as they won 't do a thing about it (most likely told by corporate that they can 't) and will give you 20 different excuses as to why things turned out badly, rather than attempting to provide a better product. There are plenty of competitors in the area, most of which are up and coming or small start ups, who offer a plethora of options that will make you forget that this restaurant even exists.
It's so hard to put a review on high budget fast food joints that supposedly offer quality food(plus entertainment). Half the time you get what your looking for, sub par wings for a decent price. On the other hand you get worse quality, your food slapped together with sauce squeezed from the bottle with no love and (chicken) tender care. Bottom line the experience is like a roller coaster ride where your satisfaction will be a gamble depending on how drunk you are. Kudos to the hard working people at this location tho. Go during not busy times
I waited 1 hr fit my food and still didn’t get served, not even 1 cup of water. This is ridiculous. The waiter often served food to wrong table and wasted another 10 ish minutes. There was only one waiter serving food and there whole restaurant was extremely understaffed.
