Chocolaterian - Madison

We came to chocolaterian cafe when we were looking for a thick parisian style hot chocolate for wintry days. Chocolaterian Cafe’s leanne made her name and made various sweets and safe enough that the café shop has sweets, chocolates, biscuits and pastries for sale. However, I wanted to try their hot chocolate up there and discovered some really good warm food served all day, I think but really great for breakfast and brunettes.

Insane. This place is unreal. The hot chocolate is no joke and not for the chocolate rookie. It is literally drinking chocolate. Best hot chocolate ive ever had. The flour-less cake is hands down the best I have ever had. It is as moist as a a good brownie, yet still tastes like a flour-less cake. The star of the the show on my first trip however was the caramel tart cashew experiment that worked better than the first person to put peperoni on a pizza. Another great part of this place is that they have a huge jug of ice water with sliced limes in it. It is just another endless awesome thing about this place. Great!. Went to Chocolaterian for brunch on Saturday. Limited food selection, but the sausage quiche of the day was fantastic and the ham panini was great too! The quiche was huge, hot, and really tasty. Amazing texture and perfectly seasoned We also had dessert. The flourless chocolate cake was deemed the best we ever had (which is saying a lot) and the chocolate tart was really good as well, with the chocolate crust adding a nice unique touch. Great house-blend coffee and nice fast service. Totally Decadent. These people are not messing around. If you are going to indulge, I suggest you do it right and partake in one of the treats at Chocolaterian. Not only do they have classic treats perfectly made like a French macaroon, but the caramel tart is a religious experience. I have been there once a week since I have discovered this place. You can taste the quality in their ingredients and everything I have tried including the Badger Bait, lemon tart, chocolate tart, caramel tart, macaroon, ricotta cookies, ugly cookies.... has been amazing.

Beautiful place, wonderful people. my man and I visited the chocolate cook after dinner at alchemy to satisfy our sweet tooth. we were not disappointed! the inner was beautiful and eating was even better! the best part? how great are the people who lead the place. we will definitely come back!
