Donatos Pizza - Madison

The food is always freshly made and incredible. I absolutely love the spinach and chicken pizza; the crust is consistently delicious!

The food is good, although a bit pricey. However, the service has consistently been excellent every time I've visited this location.

I attempted to take advantage of the online deal for an entree salad with a large pizza, but the system wouldn't let me add it to my order. So, I called in to place my order for a large thick-crust pizza and an Italian entree salad. A very helpful employee eventually found the deal and added it to my order. I sent my husband to pick it up, but when he came home, we discovered we received a thin-crust pizza instead of the thick crust and no salad. I didn't realize the pizza was thin until we opened the box at home. While I could live with that, I still wanted my salad. My husband had to make a trip back to the restaurant to get it. I understand that inflation has made everything more expensive, but getting the order right is a basic expectation from any business.

5 stars to the most enthusiastic pizza place in Madison. Had a pretty big order to feed my coworkers and myself, and wasn't able to provide much notice. They were very busy, as they were one of the few eateries open in the midst of all the ice and snow we've been experiencing, but the food came out much quicker than expected. The young professional working the counter when I came in offered me a complimentary drink while I waited on my order to be completed, and the owner/manager(? offered one to another guest waiting as well. 5 stars for service, but only because there isn't a sixth star. I have the food 4 stars simply because the sauce was a little lacking in flavor and quantity, and faces the all-too-common dilemma of it saturating the crust, creating a bit of a tomato flavored bread paste. Otherwise, the pizza was phenomenal. Atmosphere received 4 stars because... Well it's just a walk-in pizza joint. Not much improvement to be made there. Overall, my team and I got to enjoy a delicious lunch compliments of Donatos and I will recommend their food to anyone.
