Jade Garden - Madison

Struggled to find a decent Chinese food place in Madison for the last year after I moved here - until I tried Jade Garden.

This place is a cheap Chinese buffet located in not the best of areas.

UuuuggghThe reviews for this place aren't horrible, so I thought I'd take a chanceI have a few regrets.

Today I ordered my usual little shrimp fried rice no vegetables... But today I wanted extra shrimp Cuz, it just never seems enough. Anyway, you can get $1, $2, or $3 extra shrimp. I decided a dollar should be enough. So I asked if he could put them on the side, he reacted that would be an extra 50 ¢. So I reacted how many shrimps I would get on the side? He reacted 3. My mouth fell. U get 12 shrimps fried in a small shrimp. They pay $1 for 3 extra and 50 only for them to put on the page! Wow. No wonder the Chinese are before us!! Love the food though

Love this place! The food is delicious and fresh, the prices are reasonable. We've been eating here for 20 years and were always happy? Very friendly staff too.
