I ate at the Chicago labamba on halsted location at least 3 times per week before they closed down.

I love this restaurantWe usually do Uber eats from here and I am never disappointedThe beans and rice are super tasty.

This is authentic Mexican fast food It's not Taco Bell, it's not Chipotle, it's not Laredo's or El Pastor or La Hacienda.

La Bamba is one of the most affordable yet highest-quality eateries in the area. Their specialty, 'Burritos as big as your head ', is no joke, loaded up with tons of fresh goods and toppings prepared daily for roughly two dollar signs (about $12). Additionally, their guacamole is made daily and finished to order for about $8 with chips, and there 's a daily lunch special in case you want to try something new a little less. Portions are large for the price, especially in a post-pandemic society, and the staff do their best to satisfy every customer, be they a regular or first-timer. Then again, as the Wholesome 'st Turtwig on the Internet, maybe I 'm a bit too nice.

I pulled into town pretty late on a Sunday and was looking for something to eat that wasn't McDonald's. I found LaBamba and I am very happy I did. The food was great.
