I did, prices were as expected for the midwest. It was pretty good, I was impressed. Many places absolutely butcher Kalbi (no pun intended). But I?ve came back twice and had what I expected to be Delicious Chapchae over rice, was extremely bland noodles with beef over rice. It?s so sad to see such a beautiful
This review is based on my memory more than 10 years ago while New Seoul was still located along Old University Ave. It was my first Korean restaurant experience after a ski day in 2004. Every dish was delicious and perfect for the cold winter day. Since then, I stopped by regularly as being a graduate student. Overall all the memory was positive and I am happy the place is still around in 2022. One star off is because the food selection/ authenticity is not the best
I finally remembered to take a picture of my food before digging in! (patting myself on the back) This food is spectacular, do yourself a favor and try it. They're very nice there and I honestly can't wait to go back and try something new (new to me). Picture is bopchaebop (beef or veggie) clear sweet potato noodles, beef, cabbage, carrot, onion, green onion, mushroom, red cabbage.
Great food! Great service as well. We had seaweed wrapped appetizers, dumplings and a heated bowl with a fried egg and pork and many vegetables.
Been there a couple of times. My daughter and I really enjoy the food. Ample serving sizes, served fresh and piping hot.
